He is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Coventry in the UK. His thesis was about the production of friction materials, brakes and brake pads. He has participated in numerous seminars and conferences on friction materials, manufacturing techniques, new technologies and applications, namely: “Powder Metallurgy manufacturing techniques and application on aircraft brakes” (Höganä, Sweden), “ISO 9000 Series Standards” certified under IRCA (TUV Hellas-RWTUV), “International Friction Material Conference” (China-Friction-Sealing Material Association), “Friction Materials Technical Presentations” (Eurobrake Dresden, Germany) etc. He started working in Grantex in 1997 and since 2000 he is the company’s President and CEO. He is a long-standing member of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, the Federation of Greek Military Equipment Manufacturers and the Federation of European Manufacturers of Friction Materials.
GEORGIOS PASCHALIDIS • VICE PRESIDENT

He has participated in numerous seminars on warehouse management systems, exports marketing, international public relations and manufacturing techniques of friction materials, such as the “Friction Materials Technical Presentations” (Eurobrake Dresden, Germany) etc. He has been working in Grantex since 2002 and in 2013 he became the company’s Vice President. He is a long-standing member of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises.
MARIA PASCHALIDI • COMMERCIAL MANAGER
She studied Marketing at the University of La Verne in Athens and Human Resources Management at the University of Leicester. She has participated in leading seminars related to marketing, exports, human resources management and psychology in the workplace both in Greece and abroad. After having worked for four years in the shipping industry in the field of public administration, she joined Grantex and dealt with all areas of operation until she became the company’s Commercial Director. She was a Board member of the Hellenic-Nigerian Chamber of Commerce for two years and Vice President of the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development for eight years.
PANAGIOTIS KOSTAKOPOULOS • CFO
He is a graduate of economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has obtained his master in tax law from the Athens University of Economics and Business Science. He participated in seminars on industrial product costing, value of business calculation, cash flow and budgeting. He has attended numerous taxation workshops. He started his career as an assistant accountant in 1991, however, very soon, he became an accountant, and since 1997 he is Grantex’s Chief Financial Officer. He is a member of the Greek Chamber of Finance and holds an A’ class license.
KONSTANTINOS FITSIOS • PLANT MANAGER
He graduated in 1995 from the School of Chemical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens and got his specialization in organic industries. His thesis was focused on the application of modern management and administration systems in Greek industries. He has participated in numerous seminars on quality control methods and tools, laboratory accreditation, total quality management, industrial licensing procedures, metals and friction materials technology, procurement procedures, electronic commerce, budgeting etc. He is a certified quality system inspector in accordance with ISO 9001, and has extensive experience in designing new quality, environmental, health & safety systems. He has lectured at many conferences and seminars on business administration and friction materials technology systems (registered lecturer of the Hellenic Organization of Small and Medium Enterprises and Handicraft). He has also published many articles on quality in financial newspapers and magazines. He started his career in 1997 at Grantex, as a quality controller and head of the R&D department, while in 2009 he was appointed as plant manager and quality team coordinator. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, the Commercial and Industrial Chamber of Athens, the Hellenic Association of Chemical Engineers, the Association of Greek Manufacturers, the Hellenic Management Association (Institutes of Marketing and Production Management) and, since 1998, he is included in the register of the Greek Ministry of Development as an investment plan evaluator.
KONSTANTINA DIMA • EXPORTS MANAGER
She studied Marine & Maritime Industry at the University of Piraeus and her thesis topic was “Combined shipping and logistics”. She has attended numerous seminars on exports promotion and export trade procedures, such as “Recent Developments and Modern Practice - Incoterms 2000”, “Methods of Credit and Payment Safeguarding” etc. She started her career in 2002 at Grantex, first as an assistant and later as the Manager in the Exports Department.
